artist statement and inspiration

This series is inspired by the lush tropical greens and colourful, vibrant flora that I grew up surrounded with in a small town called Subang Jaya in Malaysia. 

The abstract collection is my inspiration from the vibrant colours and festivities of my childhood life, with layers and layers of delightful textures and colours.

Each painting was carefully crafted and designed to hang in any direction (horizontally or vertically) to suit the space you envision them for.
